Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Siwa Oasis, head towards the main square (Sharia al-Madina). Look for local signs pointing towards the Shali Fortress. Once you reach the fortress, continue straight on the path that runs parallel to the fortress walls. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which is less traveled but leads directly to Malol Spring. Walk another 1.5 kilometers, and you will see a sign for عين ملول Malol Spring. Follow the path until you arrive at the spring, which is surrounded by palm trees and a tranquil setting.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle in Siwa Oasis, which can typically be found near local hotels or bike rental shops. Start your journey from the main square and cycle towards Shali Fortress. Once you are at the fortress, take the road that leads straight out of town, following the signs to the surrounding natural areas. After about 2 kilometers, you will encounter a fork in the road. Take the left path and continue cycling for another kilometer. You will see a sign for عين ملول Malol Spring. Park your bike nearby and enjoy the natural beauty of the spring.

• Horse or Camel

  Arrange for a horse or camel ride from a local stable in Siwa Oasis. Head towards the Shali Fortress first, and from there, your guide will take you along the scenic routes out of town. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. As you approach the area of عين ملول Malol Spring, keep an eye out for the palm trees, as they will indicate you are getting close. Once you arrive, you can dismount and enjoy the serene environment of the spring.
