If you're driving from Cerro Verde National Park, head south on the main road (CA-8) towards the town of San Salvador. Continue straight until you reach the coastal area near La Libertad. From there, look for signs directing you to the mangroves, as Isla los Manguitos is located near the mouth of the estuary. You may need to park at a designated area and then hire a local boat for the final leg of your journey to the island.
