Walking
If you are starting from the Plaza Barrios, head southwest on Avenida Cuscatlán for about 500 meters. You will pass by the National Cathedral on your right side. Continue straight until you reach the National Palace, which will be on your left at Avenida Cuscatlán.

From the Metrocentro shopping mall, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Independencia. Take any bus that heads towards the Centro Histórico direction. After approximately 10 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the stop nearest to Avenida Cuscatlán. Once you get off, walk towards Avenida Cuscatlán, and you will find the National Palace just a short walk ahead on your left.
