After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the end of the avenue. From here, take a left onto a dirt path that leads towards the hills. Follow this path for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at the entrance of Pico Basilé National Park. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the journey.
Bicycle
If you can rent a bicycle in Luba, head out from the town center, heading south on Avenida de la República. Cycle for about 1 kilometer until you reach the waterfront. Take a left onto the dirt path that ascends towards the hills. This route is approximately 2 kilometers long and should take around 15-20 minutes to reach the entrance of Pico Basilé National Park. Ensure that the bike is in good condition and that you wear a helmet for safety.
Local Transport (Moto-taxi)
From your location in Luba, find a moto-taxi (a motorcycle taxi) by heading to a main road or asking locals where to find one. When you board, tell the driver you want to go to Pico Basilé National Park. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to clarify the fare before starting your journey.
