From the center of Mbini, head east on Av. de la Paz towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the N1 highway. Here, you will need to ask locals for directions to the nearest bus station for Nsangnam, as there are no direct public transport services to the park from Mbini. Once you reach the bus station, find a minibus heading to Nsangnam. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival in Nsangnam, ask for directions to Parque Nacional del Monte Alén; it's approximately a 5 km walk from the bus drop-off point. Follow the dirt path leading into the park, keeping an eye out for signs or locals who can guide you.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central area of Mbini and ride east along Av. de la Paz. After about 1 km, you will reach the junction with the N1 highway. Turn left onto the N1 and continue cycling towards Nsangnam. The distance is around 20 km, and the road is mostly flat. Once in Nsangnam, look for signs directing you to Parque Nacional del Monte Alén. The final stretch may involve cycling on a dirt path; be cautious of the terrain.
