Walking
From the center of Asmara, start at the famous Fiat Tagliero Building located at 7WQ4+H8J, Asmara. Head southeast towards Harnet Avenue, which is the main street. Continue walking down Harnet Avenue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rinaldi Street. Turn left onto Rinaldi Street and walk straight for another 500 meters. You will see signs for Asmara International Airport as you approach the area.
Public Bus
Locate one of the local bus stops along Harnet Avenue. You can take a bus that heads towards Asmara International Airport. The fare is usually around 5 Nakfa. Once you're on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the airport. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to keep an eye out for the airport signs as you approach the stop.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central area of Asmara. Ride down Harnet Avenue for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Rinaldi Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Asmara International Airport. The route is mostly flat, making it a pleasant ride. Ensure you wear a helmet and adhere to local traffic regulations.
