From Mendefera, take the road towards Adi Quala. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see signs indicating the direction to the Tank Graveyard. Follow these signs for about 5 kilometers until you reach the coordinates 15.3292° N, 38.9146° E.

To reach Tank Graveyard via public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Asmara to Mendefera. The ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes and costs around 20-30 Nakfa. Once in Mendefera, you will need to find a local taxi or a shared minibus heading towards Adi Quala. The fare for this leg of the journey should be around 10-20 Nakfa. After about 10 kilometers on this route, look for signs pointing to the Tank Graveyard and arrange a ride or walk the final 5 kilometers to the site.
