Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the center of Dekemhare, near the main market. Head north on the main road, which is called 'Hawash' street. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with 'Asmera' road. Turn left onto Asmera road and continue for another 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. After 2 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Dekemhare. Keep walking straight, and you will see signs indicating the direction to Semenawi Bahri National Park. Once you see the signs, continue on the path for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the park entrance.

  • Bicycle

    From Dekemhare city center, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Begin your ride north on Hawash street. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Asmera road and continue cycling for 2 kilometers. As you ride, be cautious of traffic and enjoy the local scenery. After 2 kilometers, look for signs for Semenawi Bahri National Park. Follow these signs for approximately 5 kilometers until you arrive at the park's entrance.
