Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Jõgeva city center and head southeast on Rüüti Street toward Jõgeva-Kärde Road (Route 63). Continue on Route 63 for approximately 12 kilometers. When you reach Kärde, turn left onto Kärde village road. Kärde rahumajake will be located on your right after about 1 kilometer. There is no entrance fee, but parking might be limited, so be sure to check for available spots.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Jõgeva bus station to Kärde. Buses to Kärde run several times a day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary. Once you arrive at Kärde, walk approximately 1 kilometer down the Kärde village road to reach Kärde rahumajake. The bus fare is generally around 2-3 euros.
Bicycle
Cycling is a great way to enjoy the scenery of Jõgevamaa. You can rent a bicycle in Jõgeva and take Route 63 southeast toward Kärde. The distance is approximately 12 kilometers and is mostly on flat terrain, making it suitable for cyclists of all levels. Once in Kärde, follow the village road for about 1 kilometer to reach Kärde rahumajake. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
