Walking
From Kärdla city center, start at the Kärdla Bus Station located at Tallinna 4. Head southeast on Tallinna street for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Tori street. Turn left onto Tori street and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Koidula street. Turn right onto Koidula street. Continue along Koidula street for about 500 meters until you reach the edge of town. At this point, Koidula street will become a dirt road leading into the countryside. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers until you see a sign for Hellamaa. The Hellamaa laululava will be located on your left. The total walking distance is around 5 kilometers and should take about 1 hour.
Bicycle
From Kärdla city center, begin at the Kärdla Bus Station at Tallinna 4. Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop if needed. Start by heading southeast on Tallinna street and take a left onto Tori street. Continue straight on Tori for about 1 kilometer and then turn right onto Koidula street. Keep cycling on Koidula for about 500 meters, and then follow the dirt road that leads out of town for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Hellamaa on your left. The total distance is about 5 kilometers, and cycling should take around 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Kärdla, head to the Kärdla Bus Station located on Tallinna 4. Check the local bus schedule for buses heading towards Hellamaa. You will want to take a bus that goes towards the town of Hellamaa. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Hellamaa stop, and from there, walk about 500 meters towards the direction of the laululava, which is located nearby. Make sure to verify the return bus schedule to ensure you have a ride back to Kärdla.
