Getting There

• Walking

  From Kuressaare Castle, exit the castle grounds and head east towards the main road, Lossi Street. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Tallinna Street. Turn left onto Tallinna Street and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Bird Gulf Deck. As you approach, you will see the deck on your right, overlooking the beautiful Bird Gulf.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, exit Kuressaare Castle and head east towards Lossi Street. Cycle along Lossi Street until you reach the intersection with Tallinna Street, then turn left. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs leading to Bird Gulf Deck; it will be on your right. The bike ride should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Car

  If traveling by car, exit Kuressaare Castle and drive east on Lossi Street. At the intersection, turn left onto Tallinna Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Look for the signage indicating the turnoff for Bird Gulf Deck, which will be on your right. There is parking available near the deck. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so be sure to check for signage regarding costs.

  While public transport options are limited in Kuressaare, you can check local bus schedules for services that might drop you off near Bird Gulf Deck. If a bus is available, it will likely stop at the nearest bus station to the deck. From there, you may need to walk approximately 500 meters to reach the deck itself.
