Car
If you are driving from anywhere in Lääne County, head towards Tallinn on Route 1 (E263). Once you reach Tallinn, follow signs for Pirita. You will eventually merge onto Pirita tee. Continue on Pirita tee for approximately 6 km. Maarjamäe Castle will be on your right at Pirita tee 56. There is parking available near the castle, but make sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Maarjamäe Castle via public transport, first take a bus or train to Tallinn. From the Tallinn bus or train station, you can catch bus number 34A towards 'Pirita'. Get off at the 'Maarjamäe' stop, which is a short walk to the castle. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as the frequency may vary. A single ride ticket costs approximately 2€.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Pirita, you can walk to Maarjamäe Castle. From the Pirita promenade, head towards Pirita tee and follow the road northeast. The distance is about 1.5 km and will take around 20-25 minutes on foot. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.
