If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Lahemaa National Park. Head towards the Viinistu-Pärispea road (E263). Follow the E263 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Viinistu. Once in Viinistu, look for signs directing you to the Tiiru kivi. The exact coordinates are 59.6466691 latitude and 25.749205 longitude, which can be entered into your GPS for precise navigation. There is no parking fee near Tiiru kivi.
Public Transportation
Using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Tallinn to Viinistu. Buses run regularly from the Tallinn bus station to Viinistu, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Viinistu, you can either walk to Tiiru kivi, which is about a 30-minute walk (approximately 2.5 kilometers), or take a local taxi to cover the distance more quickly. Taxi fares in Estonia are generally reasonable, but it’s advisable to check the fare beforehand or use a rideshare app.
