If you are driving from the center of Lahemaa National Park, head southeast on the road towards Vihula. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Vohnja. Once you enter Vohnja, look for signs directing you to Vohnja mõis, which is located just off the main road. There is parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Vohnja mõis using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the nearest major town in Lahemaa, such as Käsmu or Vihula. Check the bus schedule for routes heading towards Vohnja. Once you arrive at the Vohnja bus stop, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach Vohnja mõis. Follow the signs or use a map application on your phone for directions. Note that bus tickets usually cost around €2-€3.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Lahemaa. From the park, take the bike trails towards Vihula and then follow the main road towards Vohnja. The ride is approximately 15 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Please ensure you have a map or GPS, as it may not be well-marked. This option is free apart from the rental cost, which can be around €10 per day.
