Getting There

    If you're driving, from Kuressaare, head northwest on Tallinna mnt (Route 10) for about 27 km. Then, turn left onto Kaali tee and follow it for about 8 km until you reach the Kaali crater, which is well signposted. There is parking available near the crater.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Kaali crater via public transportation from Kuressaare, take a bus heading towards Kuivastu or Orissaare. You will need to get off at the Kaali stop. From there, it is about a 1 km walk to the crater. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently.

  • Bicycle

    For the more adventurous travelers, renting a bicycle in Kuressaare is a great option. Follow the same route as the car directions, taking Tallinna mnt (Route 10) and then Kaali tee.
