    If you are already in Tallinn Old Town, the easiest way to reach Viru Gate is by walking. From the Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats), head northeast on Raekoja Plats towards Pikk Street. Continue straight onto Viru Street (Viru tänav). After about 500 meters, you will see the iconic Viru Gate on your left. The walk should take approximately 10 minutes.

    If you are further away in Tallinn, you can take a tram or bus to reach Tallinn Old Town. Use tram lines 1 or 2 and get off at 'Viru' stop.
