Look for the sign indicating the museum, as it can be a bit tucked away.

From Tallinn Old Town, you can take a bus to get closer to the Carved Stone Museum. Head to the nearest bus stop, 'Vabaduse väljak', and take bus number 36. The bus ride should take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Kalamaja' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Tõnismägi Street, then continue onto Komandandi Tee. The museum will be on your left at Komandandi tee 2, 10130 Tallinn. Note that a single bus ticket costs around €2.
