Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Tallinn Old Town, head towards the Viru Gate. Once you reach the Viru Gate, continue walking through the Old Town towards Pikk Street. Follow Pikk Street straight until you reach the end, where it intersects with Toompea Hill. From there, take the stairs or the pathway leading up to Toompea. As you walk up, you will see the beautiful views of Tallinn and the surrounding area. Once you reach the top, you will find the Toompea Castle and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

From the Tallinn Bus Station, take tram number 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Vabaduse väljak' (Freedom Square) stop.
