Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Tartu, make your way to the Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats). From the square, head southeast towards Lossi Street (Lossi tänav). Keep walking straight for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Turu Street. Turn left onto Turu Street and continue for about 100 meters until you see a small park entrance on your right. Follow the path into the park.

    If you are near the Tartu University, head southwest towards the University Main Building. From there, take the path that leads down to Lossi Street. Once on Lossi Street, walk towards the direction of the Tartu Cathedral ruins. Cathedral Hill Park will be right next to the ruins, and you can enter the park from the main entrance.

    From Tartu's railway station, exit the station and head northeast towards the city center. Walk along the streets until you reach Ülikooli Street. Turn left and continue walking until you reach Lossi Street. Turn right and head towards the Tartu Cathedral ruins. Cathedral Hill Park is adjacent to the ruins, and you can enter the park from any side.
