If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Tartu city center. From there, take the Tartu – Alatskivi road (Route 1). Continue on Route 1 for about 12 km until you reach Äksi. As you enter Äksi, look for signage directing you to Saadjärve street. Turn onto Saadjärve street, and continue for about 2 km until you arrive at the Ice Age Centre located at Saadjärve 20, Äksi, 60543 Tartu maakond. There is parking available near the entrance.
Public Transport
To reach the Ice Age Centre using public transportation, start at the Tartu bus station. Take bus number 25 towards Äksi. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Äksi stop, walk approximately 1.5 km down Saadjärve street towards the Ice Age Centre. Follow the road signs, and you will reach your destination at Saadjärve 20, Äksi, 60543 Tartu maakond. Please be aware that bus tickets cost around 1.50 EUR and can be purchased at the station or on the bus.
