Walking
Start your journey at the Valga Train Station. Exit the station and head northeast on Tartu Street (Tartu tänav) for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Puiestee Street. Turn left onto Puiestee Street and continue straight for approximately 500 meters. Look for signs directing you towards Helme as you approach the outskirts of Valga. After passing a few residential areas, you'll see a sign for Helme. Follow the signs along the road, which will eventually lead you out of the city and towards Helme village. The Helme caves are located about 2 kilometers past the village center; you’ll see the entrance marked with a sign once you arrive.

From the Valga Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Helme. Buses may not run frequently, so be sure to check the schedule in advance. Once you board the bus, stay on until you reach the Helme stop. Upon getting off, follow the road signs towards the Helme caves, which are approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Keep to the main path, and you will see signs leading you directly to the cave entrance.
