Walking
Start from the center of Valga at the Valga Town Hall (Valga Raekoda). Exit the square and head to Rüütli Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tallinna Street. Turn left onto Tallinna Street and walk until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the railway tracks. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Rīgas Street (Rīgas iela) in Valka. The Valka Local History Museum will be on your right at Rīgas iela 64.
Bus
From Valga Bus Station, take a local bus that heads towards Valka. Buses are available regularly, and you can check the local timetable. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Valka, Rīgas iela'. Once you exit the bus, walk straight down Rīgas Street (Rīgas iela) for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Valka Local History Museum at Rīgas iela 64 on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Valga. Start at the Valga Town Hall and head towards Rüütli Street, then take a left onto Tallinna Street. Cycle straight until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the railway tracks. After crossing, continue onto Rīgas Street (Rīgas iela). The museum will be on your right at Rīgas iela 64, which is approximately a 15-minute ride.
