Getting there

Bus

From Võru city center, head to the Võru bus station located at Koidula 6. Take the bus to Elva; the ride takes approximately 1 hour. Check the schedule in advance as the buses may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Elva, you can explore the area on foot.

Train

Walk to the Võru train station, found at Tartu 5. Board a train heading towards Elva. The journey takes around 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Elva station, exit and you can easily walk to nearby attractions or use local public transport.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Võru. Head northwest towards Elva via Tartu road (E263). The distance is approximately 20 km, and it will take about 1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to follow the bike lanes where available.

Walking

Walking from Võru to Elva is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 20 km) and lack of pedestrian paths. However, if you are adventurous, start from the center of Võru and follow Tartu road (E263) towards Elva. Bring water and snacks for the journey.
