    If you are traveling by car within Malkerns Valley, start by heading south on the main road (M201) towards Lobamba. Continue for approximately 8 kilometers. You will pass by Esitjeni Primary School on your right. The entrance to Mlilwane Game Sanctuary is just beyond the school. Look for the sign indicating the sanctuary entrance, and turn right into the sanctuary grounds. There is a parking area available.

  • Public Transportation (Minibus Taxi)

    To reach Mlilwane Game Sanctuary via public transportation, you can take a minibus taxi from Malkerns Valley to Lobamba. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to Mlilwane Game Sanctuary. Once you arrive in Lobamba, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer to Esitjeni Primary School, which is your landmark. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the sanctuary entrance, which is just after the school. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

    If you are already in Malkerns Valley and prefer to walk, start from the center of Malkerns. Head south towards Lobamba, following the main road (M201). It is about a 7-8 kilometer walk, which should take around 1.5 to 2 hours. As you approach Lobamba, look for Esitjeni Primary School on your right. The entrance to Mlilwane Game Sanctuary is just past the school. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as this is a long walk.
