Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mbabane, head southeast on Bypass Road (MR103) towards the Lobamba area. Continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Lobamba. Look for signs indicating the direction to Lobamba, as this will help ensure you're on the right track. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at a junction. At this junction, turn left onto a smaller road (you might see local shops or stalls). Continue straight for another 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for local landmarks like the Swaziland National Museum on your right. Finally, you should see signs leading to Mvubu Falls Lodge. The lodge is located near the falls, so follow the signs and you will reach your destination.

• Public Transport

  From the Mbabane Bus Rank, take a local minibus heading to Lobamba. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Lobamba. The fare is usually quite affordable. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lobamba, ask the driver to drop you off near the Swaziland National Museum, which is a notable landmark. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi (if available) to Mvubu Falls Lodge. If walking, follow the directions provided in the walking guidance above from the museum.

  You can also opt for a taxi from any location in Mbabane to Mvubu Falls Lodge. Simply find a local taxi service or use a ride-hailing app if available. Provide the driver with the address: J5H3+JC6, Lobamba, Eswatini. The trip should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey.
