If you are driving from Mbuluzi River Basin, head east on the main road (MR3) towards the town of Siteki. Continue on MR3 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Mbuluzi Game Reserve, which is well-signposted. Turn left onto a gravel road. The reserve entrance is about 5 kilometers down this road. Please note that the road can be rough in places, so drive cautiously.

Public Transportation
To reach Mbuluzi Game Reserve using public transport, first, take a minibus taxi heading towards Siteki from Mbuluzi River Basin. The fare should be around E30 (about $2). Once you arrive at Siteki, you may need to negotiate a local taxi to take you directly to the reserve, which will cost about E100 (approximately $6). Be sure to confirm that the taxi driver knows how to get to Mbuluzi Game Reserve.

If you are nearby and wish to walk, you can follow the same route as the driving directions. From the main road (MR3), walk east towards Siteki until you find the gravel road leading to the reserve. It is approximately a 5-kilometer walk from MR3 to the reserve entrance. Ensure you have adequate water and sun protection, as it can be quite hot.
