If you are driving from Mkhomazi River Basin, head southeast on the main road towards Phuzumoya. Follow the signs indicating Mkhaya Game Reserve. The drive should take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Phuzumoya, look for signs directing you to the reserve entrance. There is a gate where you may need to pay an entry fee, which is typically around E200 (Eswatini Lilangeni). Make sure to keep your vehicle on the marked roads within the reserve.

To reach Mkhaya Game Reserve via public transportation, you can take a bus or a shared taxi from Mbabane to Phuzumoya. Buses leave regularly from the Mbabane bus station and the fare is about E30.
