Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the main roads in the Usuthu River Basin region. Head towards the town of Piggs Peak, which is a central point in the area. From Piggs Peak, take the MR3 road heading south. Continue on MR3 for approximately 30 kilometers until you see a sign for Nkonyeni Lodge & Golf Estate. Turn left onto the road leading to the lodge, which will be clearly marked. Follow the signs for about 5 kilometers until you reach the lodge. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for the terrain as some roads may be unpaved.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local taxi or bus from Piggs Peak to the nearest village close to Nkonyeni Lodge. Look for a taxi heading south on the MR3 road. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the turn-off for Nkonyeni Lodge. The taxi fare should cost around E30. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 5 kilometers down the road to reach the lodge. It's advisable to check local schedules as transport frequency may vary.

• Private Transfer

  For a more comfortable option, consider arranging a private transfer from Piggs Peak to Nkonyeni Lodge. You can book this service in advance or ask your hotel in Piggs Peak to assist you. The cost for a private transfer can range from E200 to E500 depending on the provider and vehicle type. The driver will take you directly to the lodge, making the journey convenient and hassle-free.
