Walking
From the center of Arat Kilo, head east towards the main road, which is known as Bole Road. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with the street leading to the Holy Trinity Cathedral. The cathedral is located at 2QJ8+8HV, which is well-signposted. Once you reach the intersection, turn left and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. The cathedral will be on your right. The entire walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Arat Kilo. Start by heading to Bole Road and cycle east. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection for the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Turn left and cycle straight until you see the cathedral on your right. This route should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and your cycling speed.
Public Transport (Minibus)
To reach Holy Trinity Cathedral via minibus, find a local minibus station in Arat Kilo. Board a minibus going towards 'Mekelle', as many of these buses pass near the cathedral. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to the cathedral, which is commonly known as 'Kebena'. From the drop-off point, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral. The fare for the minibus is usually around 10-20 Ethiopian Birr.
Taxi
For a quicker option, you can also take a taxi. Hail a taxi from anywhere in Arat Kilo and inform the driver you want to go to Holy Trinity Cathedral. The taxi ride should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is generally around 50-100 Ethiopian Birr, so be prepared to negotiate.
