Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Addis Ababa, head towards the main road, Bole Road. From there, you can take a minibus (known as a 'bajaj' or 'blue taxi') heading towards Entoto. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Entoto Park entrance, which is located in the Gulele area, specifically at Gulele 19/20/21.

  • Minibus

    From the Merkato area, walk towards the main bus station. Look for minibuses that are heading towards Entoto. The fare should be quite inexpensive. You will want to get off at the stop closest to Entoto Park, which is also marked for Gulele. Once you get off, follow the signs towards the Entoto Park entrance, which is a short walk from the minibus stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in central Addis Ababa. Head towards the Menelik II Square and then follow the road leading to Entoto.
