From the National Museum, walk north on Meskel Square Road until you reach Menelik II Avenue. Turn left onto Menelik II Avenue and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You'll pass through some local shops and cafes. Menilik II Square will be on your right, marked by a large statue of Emperor Menelik II.

From the central bus station (Mekelle or Merkato), look for a minibus heading towards Arada or Menelik II Avenue. Board the minibus and inform the conductor that you want to stop at Menilik II Square. The fare is usually very affordable (around 10 Ethiopian Birr). After about 15-20 minutes, the driver will announce Menilik II Square. Get off when you hear the announcement. The square will be just a short walk away from the drop-off point.
