Unity Park: A Serene Oasis in Addis Ababa

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kirkos, head south on Churchill Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Meskel Square. Here, you will see a large open space. Cross the street towards Meskel Square and walk towards the east side of the square. Unity Park is located just beyond the north side of the square, accessible through the entrance on 2QF7+7H.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kirkos. Start by cycling south on Churchill Avenue, then continue straight until you reach Meskel Square. Once at the square, cycle around the east side and look for the entrance to Unity Park, located on the north side of the square. Please note that you should wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.

• Public Transport (Minibus)

  Look for a minibus heading towards Meskel Square. These minibuses are commonly found near the main streets in Kirkos. Once you board, pay a small fare (usually around 10-20 Ethiopian Birr). Inform the driver or conductor that you're going to Meskel Square. After disembarking at the square, walk towards the northeast side to find Unity Park, located on 2QF7+7H.

• Taxi (Bajaj)

  If you're looking for a quicker option, consider taking a Bajaj (three-wheeled taxi). You can easily find them in Kirkos. Negotiate a fare (typically around 50-100 Ethiopian Birr) to Meskel Square. Once you arrive at the square, walk towards the entrance on the north side to reach Unity Park.
