Walking
If you are starting from the center of Addis Ababa, head towards Meskel Square. From Meskel Square, walk north along Menelik II Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Menilik II Square, which will be on your left side. You will notice a large open area with a statue of Menelik II in the center.
Public Transport (Minibus)
Locate the nearest minibus station, which is often near Meskel Square. Look for a minibus heading towards Arada or Menelik II Avenue. Board the minibus and inform the conductor that you are going to Menilik II Square. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, exit the minibus, and Menilik II Square should be directly in front of you.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops around the city center. Start by cycling towards Meskel Square, then continue north along Menelik II Avenue. Keep to the right side of the road and be cautious of traffic. After about 1 kilometer, you will see Menilik II Square on your left. Park your bicycle at the designated area near the square.
