Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Addis Ababa University, head south towards Menelik II Avenue. Once you reach Menelik II Avenue, turn left and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the large open area of Minilik II Square on your right, marked by statues and gardens.

    Starting from the Mercato area, head northeast along A 20 Street towards Menelik II Avenue. Turn right onto Menelik II Avenue and continue for approximately 15 minutes. The square will be on your left, easily recognizable by its notable statues.

    If you are near the National Museum of Ethiopia, exit the museum and head east on Taitu Street. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Menelik II Avenue. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Minilik II Square, which will be on your right.
