From the center of Arbaminch, head north on the main road (A9) towards Kuya. Follow the road for approximately 60 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you towards Kuya, and turn left towards the H6FV+64R location. The mountain will be visible as you approach the area. There is no specific parking area, but you can park along the side of the road close to the base of the mountain.

Start at the main bus station in Arbaminch. Look for a minibus headed to Kuya; these typically leave every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours, and the fare is usually around 20-30 Ethiopian Birr. Once you arrive in Kuya, inform the driver or a local that you want to go to Gaara QAnya. You may need to walk a short distance to reach the mountain, as minibus services do not go directly to the mountain base.
