From Yabelo Wildlife Sanctuary, head north on the main road towards Shakiso town. Continue driving for approximately 40 kilometers (about 1 hour). As you approach the town of Shakiso, watch for signs directing you to Guji Oda. Turn left onto the road leading into Guji Oda and continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Adola Shakiso Gold Mining area. Make sure to have a map or GPS enabled for precise navigation.

To reach Adola Shakiso Gold Mining via public transport, take a minibus (known as 'bajaj' or 'tuk-tuk') from Yabelo to Shakiso town. The fare should be around 30-50 Ethiopian Birr. Once in Shakiso, you can hire a local taxi or take another minibus to Guji Oda. The fare for this leg should be around 20-30 Ethiopian Birr. Upon arrival in Guji Oda, you can walk or hire a local guide to take you to the mining area, which is about 5 kilometers away.
