Walking
From the center of Axum, start at the famous Axum Obelisk. Head east on the main road, which is called Aksum St. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach a junction. Take the left turn onto the narrow gravel path. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach a small intersection. Here, take a right turn and follow the path uphill. You will see local houses and farms along the way. After about 400 meters, you will arrive at Abba Pentalewon, which is marked by a simple sign. The church is located at coordinates 14.138989, 38.740808.

If you prefer to take a local bus, walk to the Axum bus station located near the market area. From the bus station, look for buses heading towards the northern outskirts of Axum. Board the bus, and inform the driver you want to get off at the nearest point to Abba Pentalewon. After about 10-15 minutes of travel, get off at the identified stop, which is usually near a landmark or local shop. Once you get off, walk back along the road for about 200 meters, then take the left onto a small path that leads up to the church. Follow this path for about 300 meters until you reach Abba Pentalewon.
