Start at the center of Bahir Dar, near the Bahir Dar Grand Hotel. Head east on the main road (A3) towards the Blue Nile Bridge. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the bridge.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Bahir Dar, such as those near the lakefront. From the rental shop, ride east on the A3 road. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometers. You’ll enjoy scenic views of the area as you approach the bridge.
Public Transport (Minibus)
Take a minibus from the main bus station in Bahir Dar. Look for a minibus heading towards the Blue Nile Bridge. The fare is usually very affordable.
