From the center of Bahir Dar, head south towards the main road, which is known as Gonder Road. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Debre Tabor Road. At the intersection, continue straight onto the Gonder Road and keep an eye out for local signage. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will come to a roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout to continue on Gonder Road. After about 500 meters, you will notice a small park area on your left. This is Shum Abo. If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bahir Dar. Start your ride from the center of Bahir Dar and head towards Gonder Road.
