If you are starting from the center of Bahir Dar, head towards the main road (Bahir Dar - Gondar Road). Walk north along the road until you reach the intersection with the road that leads to the Blue Nile. After about 1 km, you should see signs directing you towards the Bahir Dar Viewpoint. Follow the signs, which will lead you through a small path. The viewpoint is located approximately 1.5 km from the intersection. Keep walking until you reach the scenic spot, which offers stunning views of Lake Tana.

From the central part of Bahir Dar, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the market. Cycle towards the Bahir Dar - Gondar Road. After cycling for about 1 km, take a left at the intersection that leads to the Blue Nile. Continue cycling for about 1.5 km until you reach the Bahir Dar Viewpoint. The route is fairly flat and offers a pleasant ride through the local scenery.
