Getting There

    From Goba, the nearest major town, head south on the main road towards Bale Mountains National Park. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the entrance of the park. Once inside, follow the main road until you reach the junction at Dinsho. Take the left fork towards Hako. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the village of Hako. From Hako, Tullu Ambakkoo is about a 10-kilometer drive further along a dirt road. Be prepared for rough terrain and ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions.

  • Public Transportation

    From Goba, you can take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Dinsho. Once you arrive at Dinsho, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a private vehicle to take you to Hako. The bus journey will take approximately 1.5 hours, and the taxi from Dinsho to Hako will take about 30 minutes. After reaching Hako, you will need to hire another vehicle for the remaining 10 kilometers to Tullu Ambakkoo, as public transport does not reach this destination directly.
