Walking
From the center of Dire Dawa, head southeast towards Usman Abdulahi Street. Walk along this street until you reach the junction with Bole Road. Turn left onto Bole Road and continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will notice local shops and cafes along the way. After 1 kilometer, look for a sign indicating 'Mehadi Palace' nearby. Turn right at the next intersection, and you should see the palace ahead.
Bicycle
Start at the main market area (Merkato) in Dire Dawa. Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. From the market, head east on Merkato Street until you reach the intersection with Usman Abdulahi Street. Turn left onto Usman Abdulahi Street and cycle straight for about 800 meters. After this distance, you will come to a junction with Bole Road. Turn right here and continue cycling for another 1 kilometer. Look for signs towards Mehadi Palace, which will be on your right.
Public Transport (Minibus)
Locate a minibus station in Dire Dawa, usually near the main market. Board a minibus heading towards Usman Abdulahi area. After approximately 15 minutes, request the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Mehadi Palace. Once you get off, walk straight for about 200 meters, and you will see Mehadi Palace on your left.
