Getting There

Walking

If you are starting from the Gondar Castle area, head south on the main road towards the city center. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit to your left onto Azezo Road. Walk for about 500 meters, and you will see a sign for Gondar Backpackers on your right. The hostel is located at HCVV+FHQ, just off the main road.

From the bus station in Gondar, exit the station and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for approximately 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Azezo Road. Turn right onto Azezo Road and continue walking for about 500 meters. Keep an eye out for the Gondar Backpackers sign on your right. The hostel is located at HCVV+FHQ.

If you are at the Fasil Ghebbi (the Royal Enclosure), exit the site and head towards the main road. Turn left and walk north for about 1.2 km.
