Walking
If you are starting from the center of Gondar, head towards the main square (Mekane Selam Church area). From the square, walk straight along the main road (known as 'Kebele 16') for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass local shops and cafes. Continue until you reach a large intersection. At the intersection, turn left onto the road leading to the Fasil Ghebbi area. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Emperor Fasil’s Palace on your right. Follow the signs to the entrance where you can purchase tickets.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Gondar. Start from the city center and head towards the main square, then take the route along Kebele 16. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the intersection onto the road leading to Fasil Ghebbi. Follow this road for another 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to Emperor Fasil’s Palace on your right. Be cautious of pedestrians and local traffic as you navigate.
