If you are starting from the Harar Jugol (the old walled city), exit through the main gate and head southeast towards the city center. Continue straight along the main road until you reach the intersection. At the intersection, turn left onto the road that leads towards the Jegol neighborhood. Follow this road for about 10 minutes, and you will see signs for Sherif Private Museum. The museum is located near the coordinates 845P+VWF, Harar, which will be on your right. Look for a small but distinctive building that has signs indicating the museum.
Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from a nearby shop in Harar. Start from the center of Harar, where you can find a bicycle rental shop. Begin your ride towards the Jegol neighborhood by following the main road leading southeast for about 1 kilometer. Once you reach the intersection, turn left and continue cycling straight for another 1 kilometer. You will spot the Sherif Private Museum on your right, near the address 845P+VWF.
Public Transport (Bajaj)
To reach Sherif Private Museum using a Bajaj (three-wheeled taxi), find a Bajaj stop in Harar. You can ask locals for the nearest stop, which is usually located near major markets or intersections. Once you are in a Bajaj, tell the driver you want to go to Sherif Private Museum or provide them with the address 845P+VWF. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off directly in front of the museum.
