From Gásadalur, head towards the center of the village. Follow the signs pointing towards the hiking trail for Skarðsáfossur. The trail starts off near the small church in the village. The hike is relatively easy but can be slippery in wet conditions, so wear appropriate footwear.

If you have access to a car, start in Gásadalur and drive towards the main road (Route 60). Turn right onto Route 60 and follow it for about 10 minutes. Look for signs indicating Skarðsáfossur and turn onto the gravel road leading to the parking area. Be cautious as the roads can be narrow. After parking, follow the designated walking path to reach the waterfall, which is about a 15-minute walk from the parking area.
