Car
To reach Visit Faroe Islands from Gjógv, start by heading south on the main road (Route 10) towards Tórshavn. The drive will take approximately 1 hour, covering about 48 kilometers. Follow the signs towards Tórshavn and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Tórshavn, continue on Route 10 until you arrive at the city center. Look for 9 Gongin, where Visit Faroe Islands is located. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
From Gjógv, take the bus operated by the public transport system (Bussleiðin). Check the current schedule for buses to Tórshavn. The journey typically takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, disembark at the central bus station. From there, it’s a short walk to Visit Faroe Islands at 9 Gongin. Follow the signs to the city center and enjoy the local shops and cafes along the way.
