Car
From Húsavík, head southwest on Route 1 towards Tórshavn. Continue on Route 1 for about 17 km until you reach the ferry terminal at Klaksvik (note that you will need to check the ferry schedule in advance). Take the ferry to Kalsoy, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Trøllanes village on Kalsoy, park your car in the designated parking area. The hike to Kallur Lighthouse begins from Trøllanes and is about a 2.5 km (1.6 miles) hike one way, with stunning views along the way.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Húsavík to Klaksvik. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date departure times, as they may vary. Upon arriving in Klaksvik, you will need to take a taxi to the ferry terminal (this may incur a small additional cost). Board the ferry to Kalsoy and once you reach Trøllanes, you will need to hike to Kallur Lighthouse, which is about 2.5 km (1.6 miles) from the village.
