Car
If you are traveling by car on Kunoy Island, head towards the main road that connects the island's villages. Drive towards the village of Kunoy, which is well-signposted. From Kunoy, continue along the road until you reach the ferry terminal for the island of Kalsoy. There, you can catch a ferry to the island of Kalsoy. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 70 DKK per person. Once you arrive at Kalsoy, follow the road signs to the northern part of the island, where you can enjoy the stunning views of the Faeroes.
Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, start your journey from the village of Kunoy. Check the local bus schedule, as buses operate at specific times. Board the bus heading towards Klaksvik. From Klaksvik, you will need to take a bus to the ferry terminal for Kalsoy. The bus fare to Klaksvik is approximately 50 DKK. Upon reaching the terminal, purchase your ferry ticket (around 70 DKK) and enjoy the scenic ride to Kalsoy. Once on Kalsoy, follow the road signs to the northern part of the island to reach the Faeroes.
