Hiking
From the village of Nólsoy, start at the main path that leads out of the village. Head towards the north side of the island. You will come across a well-marked trail that leads towards Borðan Lighthouse. Follow the signs for 'Borðan'. The hike is approximately 2.5 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. The path may have some steep sections, so wear appropriate footwear and take your time. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as you make your way to the lighthouse.

Walking
If you are in the center of Nólsoy, head towards the harbor. From the harbor, take the path that runs along the waterfront heading north. Continue along this path until you reach the fork in the trail. At the fork, take the left path which leads up towards the hill where the lighthouse is located. Follow this path, and you will eventually see Borðan Lighthouse in the distance. This walk is particularly scenic and should take about 30-45 minutes.
